ABURA Data Exchange
A new dawn for AI, and for company data

AI's next breakthroughs need data the internet doesn't have. Your company may hold it.

Labs, researchers, medical teams and engineers are training new models to make discoveries. Through ABURA, companies lease, license or sell their data to them, with many buyers competing at once. Lease or license it, and you keep your data and the ownership.

I own data $100K+ to $10M+

What a company's data can be worth to AI buyers. No ceiling.

No cost to you. The buyer pays.
I know a company 10% of the deal

Introduce a company that holds data, and earn 10% of every deal it makes. No cap.

You never touch the data.
Why now

AI has read the internet. Now it needs to learn how real work gets done.

The next generation of models is being trained to help find new medicines, design safer buildings, write better software and run machines. To get there, they need data that was never published: the work companies do every day.

Medical researchers

De-identified clinical, imaging and trial data, to train models that help spot disease earlier and bring new treatments sooner.

Engineers

Drawings with every revision, to train models that help design buildings, bridges, plants and machines.

Software teams

Code written by people, with its full history, to train models that write, test and repair software.

Scientists and robotics teams

Research and sensor data, to train models that run experiments, factories and fleets.

A copy, not a handover.

Lease or license your data, and the buyer gets a copy to train on. The original stays with you, and so does the ownership. You decide who gets it, on what terms and for how long, and the same data can earn again with the next buyer. If you would rather make a clean break, you can sell it outright instead.

How ABURA works

One listing. Many buyers. You choose.

  1. List your data, or be introduced

A company comes to us directly, or a scout who knows it makes the introduction.

  2. We check the rights

Who owns it, what can be licensed and what stays private. Personal data stays out.

  3. Buyers compete

AI labs, research institutions, healthcare companies, financial institutions and more see the opportunity at once and make offers. You see every one, and you choose.

  4. A copy goes to the buyer

Straight from you to them. ABURA never holds your data, and with a lease or a licence the original never leaves you.

How ABURA works Top row, the kinds of data owners hold: operations, drawings, financial, medical (de-identified), sensors, research, closed companies, source code. They flow into ABURA, where data and offers meet. Scouts on the left introduce owners and earn 10%. Data owners on the right come direct and see every offer. A ring of buyers below: financial institutions, sovereign AI programmes, healthcare and pharma, robotics and industry, research institutions, data platforms, AI product builders and AI labs. What data owners hold Rights checked, buyers compete, owner chooses Who buys it Introductions Listings, by data type Offers and updates Once a deal is agreed, a copy goes straight from owner to buyer. ABURA never holds it.

What buyers want

Old code is the hottest data in AI right now. It isn't the only kind.

Eight kinds of company data buyers can use, from companies trading today, winding down, or closed years ago.

Source code

Written by people before 2023, with commits, pull requests and tickets. COBOL, Rust, Go, Swift, MATLAB, C and C++ first.

Drawings and CAD

Construction, infrastructure, machinery and industrial drawings, with every revision from first sketch to as built.

Operational data

Contracts with their redlines, procedures, tickets and anonymised internal conversations.

Financial data

Anonymised transaction, merchant and payment-flow data.

Medical and clinical

De-identified, consented clinical, imaging and trial data. Patient-identifiable records stay out.

Sensors and IoT

Telemetry from machines, vehicles, fleets and sites.

Research and science

Private research datasets, lab results and image libraries.

Closed companies

The archive outlives the company. Its former owners or a liquidator can license it.

For data owners

Don't sell your data to one buyer. Let the market bid for it.

Most buyers name their own price and buy once. On ABURA, many buyers compete for a licence, you see every offer, and you keep the data.

Keep it

Lease it

A buyer pays for access for a set period. When it ends, you can lease it again.

Keep it

License it

A buyer gets a copy to train on, under your terms. The original and the ownership stay with you.

Let it go

Sell it

One payment, and the data becomes the buyer's. A clean break, if that suits you best.

Most owners lease or license, so the same data can earn again. You can decide once you see the offers.

$100K+

One focused dataset, such as a codebase or a project archive.

$1M+

A large, multi-year operational or engineering archive.

$10M+

Rare data at scale that no one else can produce.

No ceiling

The largest data licences run to tens of millions a year.

  • No cost to you. The buyer pays.
  • Lease, license or sell: you choose, and you set the terms.
  • You decide every term, and nothing moves without your agreement.
  • Trading, winding down or closed: every stage can qualify.

Figures are indicative, drawn from publicly reported AI data deals. They are not a quote or an offer.

Or keep it, and borrow against it

Interested in using your data as collateral to raise debt?

A house can be valued, insured and borrowed against. Company data now can too, so you can raise money without selling your data or giving up shares.

For scouts

Earn 10% of every deal you introduce. No cap.

Your share is 10% of the first year's value of each deal. It comes from ABURA's share, never the owner's, once the owner has been paid.

You know who holds it. That's the hard part.

  1. Join as a scout

A one-minute registration opens the field guide and the lead check.

  2. Spot and check

When someone mentions old code, drawings or an archive, run the guided check. It tells you whether the lead is worth a conversation.

  3. Make the introduction

With the owner's agreement, send the message the check writes for you. We handle everything after that.

9 to 18 months

How long the buyers we talk to expect this window to stay open.

A copy, not a handover

Lease or license, and buyers get a copy. You keep the original and the ownership.

Nothing to hold

ABURA never holds your data. A copy goes straight from you to the buyer.

Be part of it

Help train what AI discovers next, and earn from it.
